Shaping the Future of Education: Expanding Curricula and Global Opportunities in Korean Studies
Theme: Enhancing Education
This session will focus on ways to improve and expand the Korean Studies curriculum for undergraduate students in Italy, France, and Spain. We will explore strategies for enriching the academic experience by introducing innovative content and methodologies. Key topics include:
• Curricular Improvements: How to integrate a broader range of subjects and perspectives into Korean Studies, including interdisciplinary modules and contemporary issues.
• Global Opportunities: Expanding students’ exposure to Korean language and culture through exchange programs, joint academic projects, and collaborations with other institutions globally.
• Collaboration with Institutions: Best practices for establishing partnerships with universities, research institutes, and cultural organizations to enhance students’ education and increase institutional support for Korean Studies programs.
Broadening Research Horizons: Interdisciplinary Approaches in Korean Studies
